[Chang grumbled slightly when the turbulence hit, particularly when the Admiral voice came through, but didn't feel particularly bothered by it. Nietzscheans were more like Klingons than the regular human, at least as far as senses were concerned.

It was the sharp pinch against his ribs that woke him up completely. He shifted to find out what it was and found that it was grown out of his arms.

He looked at it in curiosity, glancing over to where K'Nera had lain. The panther, woken by the turbulence, looked up at him in a similar questioning manner.

He got up, got mostly dressed (he didn't bother with trying to get the bone blades into sleeves) before he appears on the communicator, showing off the new blades.]

I would like to spar.

[Yes, he has the best priorities, ladies and gentlemen.]

[Chang's reaction to his return to the barge was subdued, particularly given that he was a Klingon. He stood stock-solid for a few moments, until K'Nera brushed up against him, clearly confused.

He looked down at her before moving briskly towards his room, the panther close on his tail. Only upon entering his room did he permit the growl that had slowly been building loose into a roar.

The next he knew he was leaning against the cool plating that served as a wall in his quarters, his hands bloodied, panting.

He found a seat, grabbed an old bottle of blood wine and uncorked it. K'Nera, brave creature that she was, sat up next to him, gnawing slightly on his free hand. The bond they had soothed him some.]
general_chang: Chang quoting 'to be or not to be' (written in flaming letters) as the Enterprise's torpedo track to his ship. (oh... shit)
[There's a long pause here.] I require more furs.[Klingons do not like the cold.]
general_chang: Chang enjoying the battle on his prototype Bird of Prey, signalling to his gunner to fire. (klingon)
My deaths recreated? A tribute indeed! Perhaps the Admiral would see fit to remove the bindings that keep us here, allow these deaths their true value, hmm?

[The images is crackling when it turns on and it doesn't look like it's on on purpose. All the viewer sees between the interference bursts are Chang's hands pouring something into a bowl, candles being the only constant source of light in between the malfunctioning lights. The candles light higher for a second and Chang's hands disappear back into the picture, only the vaguest hints of light framing his ridges, the tip of his nose some of his uniform.]

ghoS Kahless.

[This is Princess Rosamund, daughter of the King and Queen Who Weren't Very Good At It. Her father instilled in her the need to regain the kingdom by marrying a prince. But she wasn't going to go the normal route of getting cursed by a bad fairy, nope! She'll be getting her prince her own way, thank you!

By scouring the country for princes that need rescuing be it from dragon, giant worm, ogre or witch.

She's patting the end of her hair to keep them from smoking. Dragons, eh? She looks dissatisfied.]

Another dud. What's a princess to do to get a proper prince for a change?

[OOC: Ok, I'm feeling pretty rotten right now, so forgive any slowness on my part, please. I just wanted to get this up so I don't miss port. Feel free to respond if I organised plot, and I'll tag or backtag when I'm able. For my other characters (Omega, Slater and Seven of Nine) feel free to message me.]

[Chang has been brooding in his room, feeling increasingly unsatisfied. The ever-creeping feeling that he's just accepting what's being dealt his way, missing a battle-port and realising how meekly he waits for each one doesn't sit well with him.

So today he's made a decision.

He switches on the camera and looks at it, his jaw set, completely serious.] The Death Toll. Few of us here have not experience it. We are told what it is when we first arrive. The Admiral brings us back at the behest of our warden.

To a human, this is undoubtedly a blessing. The sting of death has a cure. Oh, like all venom, it is not pleasant, nor should a 'right-thinking' individual inflict themselves to it, for mere sport, but a cure exists, another enhancement in medical science. [Can you taste the contempt?]

But I am not human. And this Admiral, in being merciful or vindictive, however your minds view this, has robbed me of my most sacred rite. [Feel free to misinterpret this to mean 'right'.] Death. He has placed it lower, to mere 'battle wound'. Very well.

Why should you care, fellow mates of the barge, hmm? Because I, Chang, issue a challenge, help me earn the wounds of battle. We will no longer spar, but fight to the death.

I will accept volunteers for this only, and responses will be public. I will not kill you behind your warden's back, I am not your assassin. I am merely a warrior, attempting to find meaning in this hollow barge.

[OOC: No, Chang hasn't been affected by nanomites or anything like that, just wants a challenge. He means what he says though, so no filtering please. He'll also simply not respond to anyone who doesn't at least show that they respect where he's coming from. Death = bad or trolling won't receive responses, guys.]

[Chang has managed to evade capture. Thanks to the convo with Coyo earlier, he prepared by doing a little recon and forming a plan of attack. Not that he's keen to avoid his eventual fate, he just wants to get some fighting in first. He'll be in the Temple of Doom by the end of the day, but maybe he just wants to get them to call him brother before he does. It's an idle thought.

So he's being hiding in whatever holes he can find and picking the brothers off. Of course, they come back to life, but really that just makes it all the more interesting. In fact, he has managed to kill one of them permanently, a particularly stubborn one, and he was slightly peckish and what better midbattle snack than the heart of your enemy? Not that he's going to volunteer this information, but if you ask, he might tell you.

The video shows blackness. Then there's a scraping sound and a flash that lights him up briefly. Those quick to adjust will see that he's covered in blood, much of it not his own (it's not pink), and that he's sharpening his blade. Thanks, Aleera! This is confirmed when he does it again.

He seems pretty content.]

I have set my life upon a cast, and I will stand the hazard of the die. And today is a good day to die! [Lookit, he made a pun. This is how happy you've made him Coyo, he's even chuckling!]

[Video shows us a dark, rusty looking room. The vaguest shapes of a man can been seen through the gloom and he's not best pleased.]

Tell me. [His voice is as sugary sweet as a Klingon's gets, that is he's smiling a shark's kind of smile but his voice is smooth and seductive.] What trickery is this?

Beaming me out before my death, hmm?

You should profane the service of the dead? [Tuts and waves his finger as if to a small child and leans forward into the light.] Tell me how my healing was done?
